Christmas Collection Coming Soon
A small collection of handmade resin and mixed wood-and-resin Christmas ornaments is currently being planned. Follow the journey and see the first pieces as they are created.
From a Few Tools to Horizons Wood
Horizons Wood began in Malaysia during the COVID period, when I bought a few tools and started making small wood-and-resin projects. After moving to New Zealand, I brought most of my tools with me and began a new chapter in Auckland.

MY APPROACH
Handmade in Auckland, Inspired by Nature
I enjoy exploring the natural grain and character of wood and combining it with the colour and movement of resin. Because the materials behave differently every time, no two handmade pieces are exactly alike.
A Lifelong Interest, A New Beginning
My interest in woodworking began as a child, watching my uncle work with timber. During the COVID period, I finally bought my own tools and began turning that early interest into real projects.
Made by Hand, One Piece at a Time
Each project involves measuring, cutting, sanding, preparing resin, pouring, curing and finishing. I enjoy taking the time to see each piece develop from an idea into something practical or decorative.
Handmade with Care
Every piece is shaped, finished and created by hand.
Natural Character
Wood grain and resin patterns make every creation different.
Always Learning
Each project is an opportunity to explore new ideas and techniques.
